Cardio
Theater Instructions

- All
cardio equipment in the fitness center is equipped with a Cardio
Theater unit, with the following exceptions: Rowers, Air-Dyne
Bikes, VR Bikes and Climbers, the Nordic Track, and the VersaClimber.
- If
you are using a machine that does not plug into the wall (all
Lifecycles and the two Rear-Drive CrossTrainers), you must begin
pedaling and press START on the machine before the Cardio Theater
system will work. On all other machines, the system will work
before you begin exercising.
- Plug
your headphones into the Cardio Theater unit. The volume will
come up quite loud. Use the volume up and down keys on the unit
to adjust the sound to your comfort.
- The
channel that you are hearing can be adjusted with the channel
up and down keys. The channels 1 through 4 correspond with TVs
1 through 4 (1 through 3 on the pole where the water fountain
is).
- If
you are using a Lifecycle or a Rear-Drive CrossTrainer and you
stop moving for a few seconds or more, the Cardio Theater unit
will shut off and you will need to restart the machine in order
to restart the Cardio Theater. When it restarts, the volume will
again come up loud.
- Please
see a staff member if you would like to have a station changed.
Please do not attempt to change the station yourself.
- Please
see a staff member if your Cardio Theater unit is not working.
